Blog Post #2: Invention

Imagine that you have the technical skill and financial backing to make a brand new invention and market it. (Remember, compose at least five sentences, please- and BE CREATIVE!)

* What would this invention be?
* What problem would it solve?
* Are there other products that exist today that try to solve the same problem that your invention does?
* What would you call your product in stores?

  1. The invention I would create would be a little gizmo that would help you remember certain things you have forgotten. Many people forget a memory, forget what they were going to say or what they were going to retrieve. This would help people who have Alzheimers or memory loss. There are some inventions today that are similar to this like the tag alarm that helps you find your keys and etc. I would call the product, "Forget Me Not".

  2. I'd invent not a machine or machanical product but a mutant vegtable or fruit that tastes good and had a longer self life than just a week or two. This newinvention would solve the nutrion problem in America and would held childf obesity. I'm sure that my product would sell very fast and become a hit for healthier eating.

  3. If i had the technical skill to create a new invention, i would use my athletic ability and knowledge. my invention would be to install a small trampoline into a basketball court. the trampoline would be placed directly under the basket. this invention would be for smaller people such as pointguards, who are trying to keep there hops up. this would solve problems for smaller pointguards trying to find where there hops are. my invention would be called ''point-hops''. this product would be sold at sports authority.

One thing I would invent is some sort of machine that would contain all these different types of clothing from jackets, shirts, jeans, etc. and it would match it for you. Like there would be this some sort of touch screen where you can pick what you want to wear and once you’re done, it would come out. This invention could help people minimize the time they pick out what to wear for the day…especially girls. I don’t think there’s any other product like this because I think it would be pretty complicated to make. I would call this product ECK, which stands for “Emergency Clothing Kit”

  5. If I could invent anything, I would invent a machine that could transform humans to and from fish to be kept in aquariums. I would want to transform people into fish because fish either eat algae, therefore they can find the food almost anywhere, or they can eat fish food. Since there would be some humans left to feed the fish and transform people to and from fish, there will almost be unlimited supplies of food, solving world hunger. If a fish dies, then they can be eaten by other fish, because apparently cannibalism is okay in the minds of the fish. The humans can then take turns to become fish and laze around all day, occasionally begging for food. There are no other products in the world that try to solve the same problem as this invention solves, unless you count food. However, food is not actually an invention, therefore my invention stands alone on trying to save world hunger. I would probably raffle off the option to name the machine, because all that creativity and effort in order to make fish-people would probably wipe me out and make me knock out on a bed to sleep. If I have to name it, though, I would name it Auto-Fish.

  6. The thing I would invent is a car that runs on anything other than gas. Like wouldn’t everyone be happy that they don’t have to pay for gas every week? Like a car that runs on water, water is reusable but gas isn’t. See how helpful it would be that you can use any sort of liquid as fuel for your car. What I would call my invention is Bio. Sounds kind of like an Asian car I know. “The Bio”, The car that can run on any liquid other than your pee. Just joking

It would solve your problem by if something happened you could go back into time fix your problem.
no there’s not a time machine.
I would call it a time machine in stores.

If I could invent one thing it would be a special keyboard. Not one you type into, but one that understands voice. So instead of typing you could talk to the keyboard and it would come up on the computer screen. Then writing up long paper on a computer would be less time consuming, and make it to write stuff on the internet. I’m pretty sure that this hasn’t been invented yet, because I would have one at my house. Engineers are probably working on some kind of voice activated keyboard, but haven’t finished it yet. The product name would be “Speak Typer “.

  9. I would invent a cleaning rag that could clean any type of dirt that cant be cleaned by normal rags or vacuums. It wil solve any type of problem that you have as long it includes dirt. There is currently an item that is similar to my invention and it is called shamwow, it does everything that my invention would do. If i were to merchandise my invention i would name it the SUPER RAG.

  10. If I had an invention some kind of multi-tasker that could help you with stuff to do around the house. It would help kids get their chores done so that they are able to do other things. In a way there are things that would be like my invention, they have brooms and vacuums but in my invention all of those kinds of things in one. To make it so that it is for kids or teenagers, I could take surveys by kid and teens to see what they would need. My invention name would probably be MultiChore so that if people never heard of it you would be able to tell what it is.

  11. The invention I would create is a machine that cleans up after you. How this machine works is that after you come home from a hard day of work the machine will automatically know what needs to be done. All you need to do for it to work is turn it on and give a command. For example they will clean up after a mess, pick up laundry on the floor, take out the garbage, wash the dishes, ect. Some products today are the somewhat the same as my invention. It is called the vacuum, the vacuum cleans up mess and garbage on the floor but it is hand done. What I would call my product is My Little Helper.

  13. I would create a product that automatically makes your bed for you after you wake up. I would create a bed that can fold the blankets and tidy up the pillows itself and we don’t have to worry about it. This saves time for adults and kids who have to go to work or school in the morning and are just too tired to clean their bed. Kids don’t have to worry about parents telling them to clean their bed when they’re halfway out the door, ready for school. I don’t think there is another product like mine that has been advertised before. I would call my product the automat.

  15. If I had the financial and technical skill to Invent something I would invent a car that can submerge underwater like a submarine and that could also be able to fly and hover over anything. It would solve traffic problems and being late. It would also be able to detect other cars around you so that you can avoid an accident. There are other inventions out there like the submarine and the airplane but they can’t do the same things at once. I would call my invention the all purpose vehicle because you can use it in any way.

  16. My invention that I would create to make people with glasses life easier, what exactly this invention is, is sort of like small wipers that are built into the glasses so when it rains you press the botton on the side of these glasses and they wipe the water off like wind shield wipers on a car. The main problem that this invention is trying to make not a problem to its users is when you have to go out and it’s raining you need to wipe the water off every minute or you won’t be able to see and that’s the whole point of glasses right. I believe that this invention is the only one of its kind you can bearly notice the wipers on the side and they will work great. I think the best name is “wipe away” because it’s says it right on the name of the product it wipes it away you have nothing to lose but the water of your glasses.

If I have the technical skills and financial backing to create a brand new invention and mark it, I would invent a mind reading device. This mind reading device would allow a person to know what he or she is saying. You can also find out if that person is lying or not by pointing this device either in front or up to ten feet away from the person. That person might not even know that his or her mind is being read. It would make this person go nuts and perhaps also embarrassed if his or her mind was read. There is this one machine thing that most police has that can tell if the person is either lying or not. The only problem with it is that the person whose mind is being read knows about it and it takes a while to install and get it ready to use because there are these parts that needs to be attached to the person that the machine is being used on. I would just call this product “Mind Reading Radar” with every first letter of each word capitalized. Or, a short name would be “MMR” an abbreviation for “Mind Reading Radar.”

  18. This invention would be a machine that does your hair however you want it and it would do your hair in a blink of an eye.
It would solve the problem of bad hair. It would also solve the problem for long hours doing your hair. It’s also great for boys and girls hair.
And yes there is something like this except the other invention only works for girls and only straitens and curls hair. While my invention does boys and girls and can do any hair style you want if you have long boring hair and you are a boy it can curl it up nice for you or slick it back there are many things you can do with this invention.
This invention is called the fantastic hair styler.

  19. If I had to come up with aninvention, it would probably be an insanely realistic virtual reality. You could turn safety settings on or off, depending on whether or not you like danger, program any scenario and situation, and even play out books and movies. People could use it for recreation or training for something else, like the military. There are similar inventions like that today, but none very advanced.I would call these realities holodecks after the ones in the Star Trek series (Yes, I am a sci-fi nerd.)

If I had the technical skill and financial backing I would create robot that would only be useful for me. It would solve the problem of me having to do work around the house such as cleaning , cooking. It would also be very smart and it would be the smartest thing on earth I would call it The Second Mom I would call it that because basically my mom is the one who always does all those things around the house. There are other robots but they are remote controlled not mine it will have a brain of its own.

I'd make a money tree. The money tree would be based off of what you do in life. If you were a medical assistant for example you'd type into the robot tree trunk your job and your info. it'll do a background check to see if your telling the truth and if you really work there and than your money will be deposited in your tree. From the tree you can pull out how ever much you want, etc. This would solve bank corruption, and save gas and time. There's no other product like this and my invention would be called the "green tree".

  22. My invention would be a device that could detect if someone is lying or not. The device would be a tiny microphone that one could pin onto his or her's shirt. The microphone would then be able to receive sound from other people an would be able to detect if that person is lying or not. It would be alot more accurate than a polygraph, and alot more portable too. The name of the product would be " The Lie Detector Microphone".
